What you should be doing on Social Media every day? (FREEBIE INSIDE)

You should be on your social media every day. Now that may scare some of you but in order to build a presence you must nurture your audience and keep up to date.

This only takes a little bit of time, and i have broken it up into tasks so you can work through these easily.

Plus, read to the end where I will attach a FREE printable for you to use and check off!

  1. SMART Goals

I check in with my goals for each platform. Am I trying to hit a certain number of followers? Am I trying to get people to my website? First thing is to get those on my brain.

2. Check my Insights for platforms and compare to previous figures over the week. Am I going up or down. What do I need to do TODAY to grow? Shall I jump on Instagram live? Shall I work on a freebie? Shall I run a competition? This means I can act quickly.

3. Check all notifications and reply to all messages. Keeping in touch and getting back quickly to your followers is a key component of the know/like/trust factor.

4. Comment and like your followers posts. I tend to spend time throughout the day when I can doing this. Note - it has to be genuine. Make sure you are putting a worthwhile comment or a well placed like.

5. Watch 10 Instagram Stories. You can do more of course, but ten is a good start. Comment and react genuinely. This is a secret weapon into the lives of your potential clients and means you can write and product content more in tune with their lives and needs.

6. Post an Instagram story of your own! Go live, record a video, or post about what you are up to. Post any offers, news, or anything else your audience might want to know.

7. Write posts and schedule. I tend to set aside half an hour a day to review, edit, and write new posts. This way I am reacting quickly in case anything happens, removing and editing posts if they don’t work for me, and writing new content. Batch writing and scheduling is recommended, so. you can do this on a day of the week.

With all this, make sure to keep your SMART goals at the forefront of what you are doing. Is this helping you with your goals? What can you edit/remove/make better? What can you add to your daily routine that keeps you pushing the needle?

WIth all that said, I have a freebie for you! It’s a printout that not only has the tips that i have shown today, but a blank space for your other jobs, and also a handy place for reminders and notes. You can print this out or edit on Canva each day so you can keep a reminder and save lists if you need too!
