Content Marketing and how it will drive your sales.

Today’s blog is how content marketing is the future of your social media.

The old method is to post a few posts, write a caption directing your followers to your online shop or appointments page, and thats it.

Unfortunately this method doesn’t work as well anymore, and you need to be moving towards content marketing.

Content marketing allows followers to spend more time looking at your website, instagram, Youtube, blog, etc.

Content marketing is part of the Trust stage of the customer journey (Know Trust Buy) as it can provide education or humour and endear your business to potential customers.

This means writing blogs, filming videos, or doing a podcast!

You can talk about many things to do with your business, such as how you started your business, what you picked up along the way, your products, a tutorial, a funny video or blog, or an indepth podcast discussing industry news.

These can drive people that will have never heard of your brand to your website or platform and may get curious enough to look at what you do and potentially buy. Pinterest is a great driver for this as your pins will come up when someone is searching for something in particular.

You also need to keep consistent with content marketing. This also helps Google with your SEO as it registers that your website has changed again and it will take note of it for when someone is searching for that particular topic.

Don’t be afraid to get really specific. Chances are if you are run into this issue, you wont be the only one. You could help someone out of a tough spot, and for that they may follow you and think of your brand next time they need to purchase.

Content Marketing builds a relationship very effectively. People invest their time into consuming your content and the more you can direct it to pain points, the more that future customers will engage with you.
