Forget Likes and Comments! Here's what you need to get.

Okay, so Likes and Comments are good, but its small change in the hierachy of metrics on Instagram.

What you need to be doing is getting Saves and Shares for your posts.

Saves and Shares show that your content has high value and has rung true with your followers and they want to share with other likeminded people or save for their own reference later on.

This comes down to your content being inspirational or educational - these posts will convert your followers into clients.

What can you educate your followers on? Millennials in particular want to learn and grow, so what can you teach them? Even something like published on how to get beachy wavy hair, or how to take care of your fresh manicure.

Have a page in your notes on your phone or somewhere where you can add to it and keep a bank of great ideas.

Make sure to point them to save and share at the end of the post too - this has a good take up from posts that I have put this on.

Bonus points if you do a carousel as well - this brings your followers more into the content and be invested.
