Getting your salon fully booked for Christmas using Social Media!

This blog is about how you can start now to get fully booked for Christmas.

With COVID-19 making things uncertain, its great to be able to be working whatever capacity your salon can function.

With Christmas now being one of the last (and perhaps only now) big holiday left to recoup some money from a hard year, you want to start planning your content for December now.

Do you have Gift Cards? You can start talking about them three months out at least. Make a joke about the dreaded ‘C’ word but make sure to let your clients know that they are a quick and easy gift ideas.

If your client gets a regular haircut/nail treatment, depending on how long they have been with you and how loyal, you could ask if they want to book until the New Year now. Put it to them that Christmas does fill up and at least their appointments will be booked so they can plan themselves.

Stress that you will be adhering to all the rules and regulations of COVID-19 rules and that you are safe and they can feel comfortable coming to you over the next few months.

Put a call to action at the end of every post.- if your December starts filling up put the pressure on and say that you only have a few appointments left for December.

The closer you get to December, you can talk about your special rules for December - eg 50% deposit, arriving on time or no appointment, anything your clients need to know so you can keep your salon running smoothly.

Start talking about products as good gift ideas. Talk about the features and benefits of a product into a video and add it to your stories - you can curate a great gift guide to make gift giving easy. You can even make up gift bundles for skin or hair types.

Communication is key, especially when you start to get busy so make sure you communicate via your social media channels, so your clients know what’s going on and what to expect.
